    Sr. I’m from ComSec.1B
    These are my summarize about the COGNITIVE APPROACH and PSYCHODYNAMIC APPROACH
    ‘’COGNITIVE APPROACH’’
    =ENCODING-the processing of stimulus information for retention in memory.
    =STORAGE-the retention of information in memory.
    =STM is simply a transient storage system.
    =MAINTENANCE REHEARSAL-the retention of material in STM by means of rote repetition.
    =also I learn about the PROCEDURAL MEMORY means that component of LTM which stores.
    =SEMANTIC MEMORY-it involves general knowledge of the world.
    =EPISODIC MEMORY-it organized according to where and when events happened.
    =I realize DECAY is spontaneous loss of information with the passage of time.
    =INTERFERENCE it is a competition between items which can hamper learning.
    =UNLEARNING an alternative interpretation of the inference..

    ‘’PSYCHODYNAMIC APPROACH’’
    =NEUROSIS-is a disorder in which levels of anxiety are a primary symptom.
    =SUPEREGO-in Freud’s theory , that portion of the psyche which represents the moral demands of family and society and is therefore governed by moral constraints.
    =ORAL STAGE- in Freud’s theory of development the first stage extending from birth to about 15 months.
    =ANAL STAGE- the second stage of psychosexual development.
    =REPPRESSION- a defense mechanism in which impulses memories that are blocked from the conscious mind.
    =FIXATION- the incomplete release of drive energy associated with a particular stage of psychosexual development.
    =REGRESSION- a defence mechanism in which the individual events to behavior.
